Todd Bauer's Bio
Born and raised in Baltimore, I grew up with very little nutritional knowledge and was an overweight adolescent. Heading into high school, I decided I was tired of leading an unhealthy lifestyle and began working out. Once I started seeing the results--feeling better both internally and externally--I realized fitness would play a strong role in the rest of my life. I began my Personal Training career over 7 years ago out of Salisbury University, where I received a B.S. in Exercise Science. Since then, I have gone on to receive specialties in Nutrition, Pre/Post Natal, Corrective Exercise, and Golf Conditioning.
Over the years, I have studied many different disciplines of exercise, some of these include pilates, yoga, kick- boxing, cycling, and sports specific training. I have gained an abundance of knowledge and skills to enhance my clients' experiences. Through these teachings, I have infused the traditional and innovative, pushing clients mentally and physically to his/her personal limits in order to achieve the mind, body, and lifestyle far beyond his/her expectations.
With each training session, clients can predict the unpredictable. Workouts are anything but mundane and monotonous; instead they are focused on various types of circuit training based on the client's specific goals and needs. Not everyone shares the same passion for exercise; however, I believe if you practice variety, and create a fun and comfortable atmosphere, even those who dread working out can find a sense of enjoyment out of each session.
